Paul Williams and Casey Diiorio spent the first two weeks of the month mixing the upcoming Slider Pines record. It should be shipped off to Alan Douchess by the end of the month for mastering. Zest of Yore visited the studio again for a couple days of tracking along with Hal West for final mixes for his record. Engineer Stuart Sikes also spent a couple days in the studio with Dallas based Dovehunter to work on a few songs. Solly came in for one day to get drum tracks for three songs for an upcoming release. New Gear: SPL Transient Designer 4, Groove Tubes ViPre

The Valentines returned to the studio this month to spend a few more days continuing overdubs for their upcoming disc. Former Chomsky singer Sean Halleck also came in to work with Casey Diiorio on a few brand new songs, bringing in drummer Rob Avsharian and bassist James Driscoll. Look for some new songs hopefully by new year. The beginning of the month saw a couple days spent with local band Odis, recording a few songs for an upcoming EP and a few days spent with early 90s major label rockers Lord Tracy testing the waters on a few new songs, possibly a record. Mixes were completed for LA solo artist Hal West and the last week of the month saw the start of mixing for the upcoming Slider Pines disc. Turkey Day means Wisconsin here and hopefully some snow…have a good one!
