Wrapped up the final vocal overdubs for The Crash That Took Me disc before mixing begins sometime in September. We spent a couple days with Denton rockers Zest of Yore to continue work on their songs while also finishing tracking and mixing for Nashville songwriter Tim Reed. In July we put the final touches on the songs for Bowling for Soup’s B-Sides and Casey Diiorio mixed them here at the studio. Mastering will be done by Howie Weinberg at Masterdisk in New York. In mid August we began tracking for two new records. One with The Wishlist from Denton TX and another with solo artist Hal West from LA CA. Both should be released somewhere around the new year.

First week of June was spent at Pulse Recording Studio in LA in Butch Walker’s room while BFS recorded the final touches to their new disc. Returned back in Dallas to wrap up most of the vocals for the upcoming The Crash that Took Me disc…we’re shooting for a late August/September mix date. Overdubs for the four songs for Bowling for Soup’s B-Sides were completed with Casey Diiorio engineering and producing. Mixing will take place next month here at the studio and mastering will be done by Masterdisk in NYC. The final mixes and masters were finished for singer/songwriter Jason Corcoran’s upcoming EP…look for the release of this 5 song collection sometime late next month. Keep an eye out for some shows up at Bend Studio from him soon. Mike Melendi also came into the studio to track a few songs for an upcoming solo record.
