First week of May included two days with singer/songwriter Jason Corcoran engineered by Mark Petty and Casey Diiorio, a day with Zest of Yore, and three days cutting basic tracks for six songs for Joey Witham…special thanks to Max Lintner for his handy drumwork. Producer/Engineer Russ T Cobb flew in from Atlanta for a week to man pre-production with Bowling for Soup for their next disc, completing all their scratch tracks that they will cut to at Butch Walker’s Ruby Red Studio. Casey Diiorio spent 10 days beginning work with The Crash That Took Me featuring members of Daryl (Dylan and Beau) and Black Tie Dynasty (Eddie). Look for some pics of these sessions in the photos section. And finally, we burnt the midnite oil completing all the overdubs and mixing for Joey Witham’s new disc in the final week of the month, sending off the mixes to Alan Douches for mastering. We’re super excited about it and look for a June release.

March – April 2006 update
Zest of Yore from Denton TX came back in the studio for a few days to continue work on their upcoming CD. Joey Witham also came in for a couple days to wrap up overdubs for his new disc. Bowling For Soup entered the studio with Casey Diiorio for a little over a month to work on the demos for their upcoming release. Plans are to record up to 40 songs before the end of April and start pre-production in early May. Pre-production will be done here at the studio with engineer Russ T Cobb and the record will be done at Butch Walker’s studios in Atlanta and LA. Denton rockers Sleezus Fist wrapped up April with another whirlwind weekend to spend a little time on a couple very loud tunes.
