The Falling View set up camp this month to start working on a four song EP. Pre-production and basic tracking were completed with more overdubs to come next month. We also continued overdubs for The Wishlist record and finished the mixes for Bea. Bowling for Soup came into the studio to record and mix “Omaha” for ESPN and the college World Series. Turn on ESPN and you’ll probably hear it.

Began tracking for local Dallas/Denton band The Wishlist. The Wurlitzer piano got a workout from these guys with it being the center of their British-style rock. Bea, a solo female acoustic artist living in New York, flew in for a day to track four songs. Mixes to be done soon.

Casey Diiorio recorded and mixed two songs for Daryl for their upcoming split with Black Tie Dynasty. We also tracked and mixed the title track “Bloody Basin” that featured both bands playing on different sections of the song. Black Tie recorded their other two songs with Stuart Sikes here at the studio also. You can pick up a copy of it at their CD Release on June 10 at Sons.
